Today is your LAST DAY to order an official Strip Search Tee Shirt.
And check out this write up by @microbrien:
You may recognize the design from Episode 3, “Burning That Bridge” of the wildly popular webseries/reality show about the business of making webcomics, Strip Search.
Pre-order this T-shirt now–yes, this minute young (man / lady / I won’t box you into a gender binary if you don’t want me to) because it won’t be available much longer.
It’s only $17.99 and pre-orders end on April 5!
So give up your morning Starbucks for literally three days and go buy this shirt.
If you do, you’ll be supporting not only Amy, but your purchase is also a way to say very loudly that you want to see another season of Strip Search, that this is what reality shows should be, and that you appreciate Penny Arcade’s commitment to supporting other artists and webcomics.
In other words, a pre-order on this shirt is like a pre-order on more of everything you love and hold dear in life…insofar as that applies to Internet shows and webcomics.
Still, that’s a pretty big deal if you ask me. Pre-order the shirt here.
PAX East Panel, Strip Search Episode 5 & Official T-Shirt Pre-Orders
Strip Search is coming to PAX East on FRIDAY 3/22 2:30pm-3:30pm in the Arachnid Theatre. The panel is shaping up to be a huge one and space is really limited, so head over early! Mike, Jerry, Graham, and half the cast will be there, and I’m proud to say I’ll be on the panel myself. So come cheer us on and ask those salacious questions you’ve been holding back.
Episode 5 of Strip Search is out and features a very strange experience on the streets of Seattle… I won’t spoil anything but there is certainly a big surprise at the end!!
And lastly, as previously mentioned, I was lucky enough to win the design challenge in the 3rd episode of Strip Search. the Official T-Shirts are now on sale through the Penny Arcade online store and even come in ladies sizes! I do receive 100% of the profits from the sales, and for that I am truly honored and grateful. I hope you all considering picking one up, not just to support me, but to show Strip Search to as many people as possible!
I know I want to see a second season of Strip Search, how about you?
I want to cry pretty much everyday. A shirt of mine is on sale at Penny Arcade… I get to be on a panel with Gabe and Tycho with PLENTY of time to catch the Rooster Teeth panel… I met 11 other amazing artists… The internet has been very kind to me. I only hope to give everything I can to make each comic better than the last!
Lastly, if you haven’t check out everything going on at FullPickle.com GET TO IT ALREADY. It’s the new hub for , Action Food, and my journal comic Cardigan Weather. PLUS we added out first video series, with much more to come. (hint… a 404 error might be fun to try and get)
Work in progress on one beefy brawler. Gonna scar him up rightly. Then dress him up knightly.
Design I did for a friend’s project. It was a blast to do and I quite liked the results. If this hadn’t been for a University with really strict approval criteria for flyers, I would have done a more wonky text on the bottom. I had plenty of posters snubbed by them in the past. [eyeroll]
Capitol Couture- District 4
I wanted to design a shoe that might be worn in the Capitol of Panem. I chose District 4 because I got sorted into that online and I also happen to live in a fishing village. Instead of going for something absolutely crazy, I thought a wedge that was reminiscent of waves at the shore would be appropriate. I would imagine this to be paired with a layered, sheer, wispy gown.
Who likes comics about first sexual experiences, lady x lady romance, open relationships, day jobs, comics, small animals and a whole mess of dicks?
I guess me. I’m close to launching my journal comic Cardigan Weather. Let’s get pumped.
